Bishop Relevant Expert Qualifications:
1)      B.S., U.S. Naval Academy, with thorough grounding in math and science.
2)      Ed.D. degree, University of Georgia, in Physical Education (Exercise Physiology specialty).  This specialty deals with the impact of acute and chronic work or exercise on the human body with emphasis on cardiovascular and muscular function.
3)      Over 29 years as a scientific investigator (researcher) (publishing over 150 peer-reviewed science articles, over 300 total presentations).
4)      Contributor, “Deer & Deer Hunting” magazine.
5)      Publications and presentations on deer hunting safety and harness safety.
6)      Have been deer hunting many times each season since 1975, and using climbing stands since 1976.  Since 1984 have hunted primarily in Alabama, whose deer season begins around October 15 each year and runs to the end of January.
7)      Audited an Industrial Ergonomics course, Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Alabama.
8)      Have attended several industrial safety conferences.
9)      Have completed four or more Hunter Education/safety courses including courses in Alabama, Maryland, and New York.
10)  Have designed two tree stand fall-restraint safety devices.
11)  Have designed and built two different types of portable tree stands.
12)  Have used and installed scores of tree stands of all types except tripods.
13)  Served as one of several reviewers of the 2009 National Bowhunter Educational Foundation (NBEF) hunter safety training program (at request of Wade Nolan, working for NBEF).
14) Served as Expert in 15 cases.
